Kaitlyn Bentley is the owner of True40’s downtown Birmingham location. She managed and helped open True40’s second studio location before becoming True40’s first franchisee. She is an Auburn grad and married Hunter in 2016. Kaitlyn and Hunter live in Crestwood with their dog Zoey, and they have a son on the way! Her favorite part about True40 is the ability to tailor the workout to individual needs, along with the encouraging community of clients of staff.
Smith Busby is an experienced fitness instructor and has been a True40 instructor for 2 years. She is an Auburn graduate and works in Financial Services. She is married to Tyler and is mom to a baby girl. Smith’s favorite thing about True40 is the ability to both modify the workout if needed and/or add in optional challenges to push yourself to that next level!
Allison Granger has been a True40 instructor since 2017 with experience as a bootcamp instructor and a cheerleading background. She is married to Chad and they have two boys. When she’s not in class, she works as a Dermatology PA! Allison’s favorite part about True40 is instructing classes and challenging her clients!
Sydney King is studio manager and an instructor at True40’s downtown Birmingham location. She grew up in Auburn, AL and graduated from Auburn University in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing + Sustainability. After living in Atlanta, GA for a year post-grad, she made her way to Birmingham! Sydney loves True40 not only for the challenging workout, but also the warm community that it provides!
Jayne Berry joined the True40 Downtown Team in 2018. She is a graduate from Troy University with a Bachelor’s in Business Marketing. Jayne is originally from Tampa, FL. She is a Marketing Rep for AlaCOMP Insurance Group and a dog mom to her boykin spaniel, Rylee! Her favorite part of True40 is the studio community and commitment to honor your body! She is an enthusiastic ball of energy and she can’t wait to shake and sweat with you!
Holly Carr joined the True40 fam in 2017, and became an instructor in August of 2019. Originally from Montgomery, she’s a Bama grad with a Public Relations major and Art minor. She now works in Automotive Advertising at Intermark Group. She recently got engaged, and is getting married in May 2021! Her favorite part of True40 is the incredible community, and the workouts that always allow you to honor your body!
Jamie Hudgens has been teaching group fitness for over 7 years and has been part of the True40 instructor team since December 2018. She received her Master’s Degree from UAB in English/Creative Writing in 2015 and is the content marketing manager at Alabama Media Group. An avid reader and writer, Jamie loves being able to “talk through” the body with creative verbal cues during her classes and relishes any opportunity to work. that. core.
Morgan Roberts joined True40 as an instructor back in 2017. She graduated with her Bachelor’s from Auburn University and her Master’s from the University of Alabama and now practices as a mental health therapist at a local community agency. She loves True40 because it is a space where everyone is welcomed to come as they are and take what they need from each class. True40 promotes honoring each body and the gifts it offers!
Kelsea Buddo joined the True40 team in June 2019. She graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor’s degrees in both English Literature and Media Communications and owns her own graphic design and branding business, Kindly by Kelsea. She and her husband Rob currently live in Crestwood and are expecting the arrival of their first child this December! She’s inspired by True40’s community driven mindset and loves helping clients uncover their strongest selves.
Shelby DiLorenzo joined the True40 fam in 2017 and has been an instructor for 2 years now. She is a graduate of Troy University and currently teaches 8th grade Physical Science at Homewood Middle School. She loves teaching at True40 because of the positive and welcoming atmosphere! She loves catering to clients’ needs and levels of
fitness. Shelby is a group fitness enthusiast and excited to help you shake, sweat, and burn!
Jacquelyn Jackson joined the True40 family in 2017 after the opening of the downtown studio. Originally from Georgia, she moved to Birmingham after graduating from Auburn University where she earned a degree in Elementary Education. Jacquelyn is currently a kindergarten teacher at Advent Episcopal School. She and her husband, Ben, welcomed their first child, Emmie, in the spring of 2020. She loves True40 because of the positive and uplifting community.
Emily Trice joined the True40 staff in 2018 and became an instructor in January of 2019. She grew up in Tuscaloosa and attended the University of Alabama majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition. Emily is now in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at UAB and loves using her knowledge of the body to aid in instructing classes. Her favorite part about True40 is the community that provides encouragement and love as well as a killer workout!
