Taylor is a longtime True40 lover, mom of two (Campbell & Sylvie), and preventative health nurse practitioner with a deep passion for whole-body wellness. She brings warmth, intention, and a body-positive approach to every class, believing that true change starts from within—mental, spiritual, then physical.
She first discovered True40 during her postpartum journey and quickly connected with its balance of strength and gentleness. Outside the studio, Taylor embraces life with her family, from sports and dance recitals to pickleball and travel—always celebrating movement, connection, and community.

With her warm smile and coastal spirit, Sophia brings a breath of Pensacola Beach air to every True40 class. Introduced to the method by her best friend (and now business partner) Taylor, it only took one class for Sophia to fall in love with the balance, peace, and strength True40 offers. Now, as co-owner of True40 Gardendale, she’s passionate about creating an uplifting, welcoming space where movement is intentional and community comes first.
Outside the studio, Sophia enjoys life with her husband Joel and their two toddlers, Cooper and Cameron. Whether she's soaking up the sun at the beach, curating the perfect playlist, or sharing spontaneous adventures with Taylor, she brings joy and energy wherever she goes. Her classes are known for their grounding presence, great music, and gentle encouragement—helping every member feel strong, seen, and inspired.

The True40® Studio method is a fusion of high-intensity, low-impact strength training that is inspired by barre, functional strength training, Pilates, and yoga.
Classes range from 45-60 minutes, and offer both modifications and challenges, so that you can move in a way that is true to YOUR body. This means that our classes are also safe for pregnancy, postpartum, and injury-recovery.

workout
Class formats
Our signature 60-minute class.
A modern fusion of strength training, cardio, barre, Pilates, and yoga designed to balance and strengthen the whole body, safely. You’ll use TRX straps, Pilates balls, barre, light weights, gliders, and yoga straps.
True40® Fusion Class:
A 50-minute version of our signature class.
A class designed for those clients who are pressed for time. You can still expect a full-body, balanced workout experience to align you with your highest self.
True40® Express Class:
This 45-minute cardio class.
This class is designed to keep clients’ heart rates high throughout, while still offering a safe, balanced, full-body workout. We strongly recommend that clients take at least two True40® Fusion Classes before taking a cardio class.
True40® cardio Class:
Parents, we know that carving out even an hour or two for yourself during the week is no easy feat, which is why we offer childcare services during classes. We treat your children as our own, in a safe, happy, and loving environment. Each childcare staff member is CPR certified and has extensive experience with children of different ages.
We accept children ages 0-10, and spots are limited to ensure our team can give your little ones all the personal attention they deserve. Contact your local studio for pricing and policies.

FAQ
What is required to take a class?
All you need to bring with you are sticky socks (we have some to buy for $16 or rent for $3 in the studio) and water (you can purchase a water or refill yours here). We have the rest!

Does your facility have a water bottle refill station?
Yes! We also have disposable water bottles available for purchase if you forget yours.
How early should I arrive for class?
If this is your first class, please arrive 15 minutes early so we can show you around, introduce you to your instructor and talk through expectations/injuries, and get you set up for class! For regular classes, we recommend arriving at least 5 minutes early.
is there parking?
Yes, we have a free parking lot! If spots are full in the lot, there is plenty of free street parking surrounding Woods Trading Company shopping center (Where True40 Gardendale is located).
Do I need to be experienced to take class?

are there showers and changing rooms?
Yes, we provide: private shower facilities, lockers, changing rooms, basic toiletries, hair dryers.
What should I wear?
You can wear whatever you’re most comfortable to move in, we don’t have a dress code!
Do you offer a free trial?
On the first Wednesday of every month, we have Bring a Friend Wednesday where you can come to class with a current member for FREE! Other than this, you can try your first class for $10. Buy your first class here.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Our cancellation window is 8 hours before your scheduled class. If you cancel prior to 8 hours before your class, there is no penalty! If you cancel within the window, you will either receive a $15 charge or lose your credit.
what is a trx?
TRX stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise. TRX suspension straps are part of each class, and use your body weight against gravity to fire the entire body and produce a major calorie burn! They are a versatile piece of equipment you will use throughout class. You’ll build core strength to stabilize your body through each exercise.
